hey guys well… im 19 and looking at getting braces and i cant seem to find a place where i can be put to sleep during the "procedure".( i have rang many places ). Im absolutely scared of needles hence the reason for wanting to be put to sleep..just thinking of the dentist gives me the creeps.. i live in south australia so anywhere near Mount Gambier or adelaide would be reasonable travel for me..please help!
No one is going to put you to sleep for applying braces, they don’t use needles what so ever. Really the only pain you feel is after when you have them own, because your not use to these metal things on your teeth.

When you get braces, they do not use a needle!! You don’t even feel them putting them on, but it will hurt for awhile after they get put on!

They dont use needles to put braces on. You will only see needles if the orthodontist tells you that you need extractions.

Don’t worry! It’s not scary! Everyone is really freaked out about getting braces. I was to. But after you get them, you’ll be like ‘Whoa! I was spazzing about that for nothing!’ It’s nothing to be afraid of. They just use this glue to glue on the brackets. Then they like put a wire through it or something. There is no needle involved. If you want, you can watch this vid of someone getting braces. The only freaky part is when they put this thing in your mouth that makes your mouth open really wide! I know that it lookes scary but it’s not! Just think about your new straight teeth! Be brave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
