my root canal – is this too much?

Im from Australia, adelaide if it makes a difference to pricing.

( this is only for one tooth – i had an abcess and needed a root canal for tooth 16)

Ive lost my first bill for my first visit but it was about 190 dollars when i first went in and they realised i needed a root canal

2nd visit:
xray $46
prep of root canal – 1 canal $200
prep of root canal – add canal prep of 2nd canal $95
prep of root canal – add canal prep of 2nd canal $95
prep of root canal – add canal prep of 2nd canal $95

amount i paid for for 2nd visit $531 (ive paid this one)

Now this is the rest of the dental plan i get in the mail which i think is a little steep!

Root canal obturation – one canal $205
Root canal obturation – other canal $89
Root canal obturation – other canal $89
Root canal obturation – other canal $89
1 X ray $46

New filling once root canal finished
Preliminary Restoration for crown – direct $131

Protective cap 3 months after root canal finished
Full crown – non metallic – indirect $1260

Total: 1909

so all up this root canal is going to cost about 2630 dollars!!!
